Sister City   North International High School

Description:  Through our advisory period, 9th and 10th grade students will produce a video to share with our sister city in Japan.

Why is this important?  International outreach is a primary mission of NIHS and this project directly supports that mission. Also, those skills developed in story and video production will also be honed as students complete this project.

Who will be served?  Initially, approximately 50 students will be a part of this production with a wider audience for then building our relationship with our sister city school.

How will this be evaluated?  The video will be posted on our web page as well as any communication from our partner school.

Does this build on existing programs?   This project also supports developing skills for our junior IB class, ITGS (Instructional Technology in a Global Society).

Budget:  2 sanyo digital video cameras @ $229.00 each
