This
fall, they are also leading EEF's annual
campaign.
"Our children have been so fortunate to have benefitted from
4J's excellent schools,"
says Kovach. "Lee and I
feel strongly that parents should continue to support the
schools that gave so much to these graduating seniors."
Adds Soreng, in the words of Dr.
Seuss,
"The
more that you read, the more things you will know. The more
you learn, the more places you'll go."
Nicky
Soreng-Robbins and Leah Kovach both graduated from
International High School in June.
Rebecca
Kovack adds, "Even in
these difficult economic times, our teachers and
administrators continue to do their best for our
students. When we parents give through EEF, students get
curriculum and staffing that otherwise would not be there
for them. It's important that we all step up this year and
make the 2009 campaign a success."
Gifts
earmarked for a specific school are forwarded to that
school. Gifts without an earmark fund grant proposals from
teachers.
